Oenology course Bordeaux - Saint Émilion - Wine and chocolate pairing

The oenology course begins with a visit to the property Then a presentation of the steps of wine tasting and the associated vocabulary. You can then participate in a sensory workshop to recognize the aromas and a commented tasting of Saint-Emilion Grands Crus paired with chocolates from the artisan Denis Daubos.



The principle :

After a visit to the wine estate, you will discover the technique of wine tasting with the different stages of sensory analysis (eye, nose, mouth). You will be able to approach the different categories of wine aromas that you will put into practice through commented wine tastings.


The oenology course includes:

  • A visit to Château Pas de l’Ane in Saint-Émilion Grand cru with a presentation of the terroir, the work of the vine and the wine.
  • A presentation of the wine tasting technique and the associated vocabulary.
  • Training in the recognition of aromas and olfactory games
  • A comparative wine tasting (terroir influences, vintages, vinification choices) of 5 wines from the property in Saint-Émilion Grand Cru accompanied by chocolates from the artisan Denis Daubos.

Oenology classes take place on Saturday mornings from 9am to 1pm at Château Pas de l’Ane Le Cros 33330 Saint-Émilion
